Our advertising guidelines are designed to create a positive and trustworthy environment for our users while providing advertisers with clear expectations for acceptable practices. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that all submitted materials comply with these guidelines, as well as with applicable laws and regulations.

  1. Prohibited Advertising Content

To maintain a safe and respectful environment, the following types of content are strictly prohibited:

  • Misleading or Deceptive Practices:
    • False or exaggerated claims, such as "Guaranteed to cure all illnesses" or unproven testimonials.
    • Misrepresentation of product or service capabilities.
    • Scams, frauds, or "too good to be true" schemes.
  • Restricted Products and Services
    • Healthcare products are allowed except for content relating to:
      • recreational drugs;
      • erectile or sexual enhancers;
      • paternity tests;
      • controlled substances such as steroids;
      • anabolic or hormones;
      • any product that claims to have a similar effect to illegal substances;
      • diet pills, unregulated supplements, or weight-loss products with unsupported claims.;  
      • prescription drugs-based content (unless expressly approved by Sabio); and/or
      • online pharmacies selling medicines either with or without prescription and informative websites related to medicines (except if they are certified as per local applicable regulation and expressly approved by Sabio).
    • Political content must comply with local legal requirements and must have clear disclosures. Political content must not:
      • portray false, untrue or misleading political content;
      • exclude certain political parties without a legal basis for exclusion;
      • contain inflammatory political content;
      • portray voting or census participation as useless and/or meaningless and advise users not to vote or participate in a census; and/or
      • be paid for directly or indirectly by a non-resident foreign national or entity.
    • Weapons, explosives, or products promoting violence.
    • Alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, or related paraphernalia (except where permitted under strict regulation).
    • Content relating to gambling: (i) must comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the relevant jurisdiction(s); and (ii) requires prior written approval from Sabio. Content relating to state run lotteries is acceptable, provided that the content complies with all applicable laws and regulations in relevant jurisdictions.
    • Any content that specifically targets minor needs to comply with all applicable laws and requires prior express approval by Sabio.
  • Harmful or Offensive Content
    • Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, harassment, or violence against any group or individual based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
    • Explicit sexual content or adult services.
    • Ads designed to shock, disgust, or frighten viewers.
  • Malicious or Harmful Intent
    • Ads containing malware, spyware, phishing links, or attempts to collect user information fraudulently.
    • Advertisements promoting unsafe or unethical practices.
  • Intellectual Property Infringement
    • Content which infringes on any third-party intellectual property rights.
  • AI-Generated Content
    • All images, videos, and animations used in advertisements must be created by human designers, photographers, or videographers. AI-generated or AI-enhanced media is strictly prohibited.
    • Advertisements must not contain AI-generated copy, including headlines, descriptions, and calls to action. All written content should be produced by human writers.
    • If an ad contains voiceovers, they must be recorded by human voice actors and not generated using AI-based text-to-speech tools.
    • Advertisers must certify that all submitted creatives comply with this policy. Any advertiser found using AI-generated content may face ad rejection, suspension, or other enforcement actions.
    • Requests for exceptions to this policy (e.g., limited AI-assisted enhancements) will be considered on a case-by-case basis and require explicit approval.

  1. Acceptable Advertising Content

We encourage advertisements that are:

  • Truthful, transparent, and backed by evidence where claims are made.
  • Relevant to the target audience and aligned with the context in which they are shown.
  • Family-friendly or appropriately labeled for specific audience restrictions (e.g., age-based ratings).

  1. Prohibited Advertising Media Types

To ensure a positive user experience, we do not allow the following advertising formats:

  • Intrusive Formats
    • Pop-up windows or interstitial ads that interrupt user navigation.
    • Ads that force downloads or automatically install software without user consent.
    • Ads that cannot be closed easily or that mimic system warnings or messages.
  • Non-Compliant Technologies
    • Advertisements containing auto-playing audio or video without user-initiated action.
    • Advertisements with excessive file sizes causing slow loading times.
  • Manipulative Techniques
    • Ads that disguise themselves as editorial content or organic content without proper disclosure.
    • "Clickbait" headlines or images that mislead users into clicking.

  1. Brand Safety

We are committed to ensuring that advertisements align with our brand values and do not appear alongside inappropriate or harmful content. To achieve this, we:

  • Use robust content filters and category exclusions to avoid showing ads in contexts that conflict with our values (e.g., hate speech, adult content, fake news).
  • Require advertisers to adhere to third-party brand safety standards, such as those established by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).
  • Conduct regular reviews of advertising placements and content for compliance with this policy.

  1. Fraud and Invalid Activity

Advertisers must not engage in, permit, or encourage any fraudulent, deceptive, or manipulative activity that may artificially inflate impressions, clicks, conversions, or other campaign metrics. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Automated, incentivized, or non-human traffic (including bots, crawlers, or click farms)
  • Misleading ad placement or hidden ads
  • Pixel stuffing, ad stacking, or auto-refreshing inventory without user initiation
  • Misrepresentation of inventory source, domain, or app
  • Using proxies, VPNs, or other means to disguise traffic origin
  • Any other activity intended to distort campaign performance or billing

  1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Advertisers must adhere to all applicable local, national, and international laws, including but not limited to:

  • Privacy and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Advertising and consumer protection laws.
  • Industry-specific advertising standards where applicable.

  1. Reporting and Enforcement

If an advertisement violates our policy:

  • Users can report non-compliant advertisements via our legal email address as legal@sabio.inc.
  • Advertisers found in violation may face actions including ad removal, suspension of ad accounts, or permanent banning from our platform.

  1. Updates to This Policy

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our practices or to comply with legal or regulatory requirements. Advertisers are encouraged to review this policy regularly.
